About YsLink

YsLink was incepted and created in February 2025.

I came to the Ys series at the start of the same year after a lifelong love of JRPGs. I picked up Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana on a whim during a Steam sale and proceeded to devour the series one entry at a time. In each game I fell in love with highly varied mechanical/combat styles, gorgeous locales, and charming characters.

It was sometime around the midpoint of Ys: Memories of Celceta (on my original PS Vita, no less - a long-time favorite in its own right) that I knew I didn't want to just be a consumer of the series, but wanted to share my love for it as well.

My goal for YsLink is to create a more experiential appreciation of the Ys franchise rooted not just in game explainers but also features like the interactive map and series timeline. In addition, I hope to highlight people in the community as well as important Ys news using the YsLink Blog.
